Atheism the unscientific belief (part one, two, and three)

From what I've seen, Rik could live alone on a mountain without wi-fi and still be living in the world's loudest echo chamber.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

But that's OK because eventually all these planets and asteroids will 'merge' into our sun..... oh wait, they won't. If anything they'll spiral out of the solar system when the sun goes dwarf and loses some of its gravity.
But that's OK too, because all the galaxies will 'merge' when they fall into each other.... oh wait, they won't. Space is stretching faster than many can run into each other, pulling them farther and farther apart.
I lost track, what was your point again?
You try to have a go on me but you fail as failed those who said that not all the rivers end up in the ocean.
As some of the water in the river evaporate to form clouds that eventually will piss down again in the rivers or in the ocean or end up under the ground to form underground river that eventually will end up in the ocean at the same time you try to tell that the small do not end up in the big.
Eventually they will because sooner or later these planets or asteroids will be sucked up by black holes
*sigh*
No, actually, most stuff will NOT be "sucked" up by a black hole.
Just to get a feel for your understanding of black holes, I'll ask a very basic question about them....
If our sun were replaced with a black hole of the same mass, what would happen to the orbit of the planets?

Sorry if this was said before, but has someone told this idiot that atheism or theism have nothing to do with science? Hey Rik, that was a nice ashram hahaha ohohoh.

I may be going out on a limb, when I say, that Riky doesn't know his elbow from his ar*e.

It depends on the methaphysical state of said limb and all the spiritual consecration or some shit like that..

Little Rik : I think you shall find that the scientific method as used to day originated with the Enlightenment
And is not several thousand years old but a few hundred years old. It is the most reliable methodology with
regard to the investigation of observable phenomena. And there is no such thing as spiritual science. Which
is an oxymoron as neither of them has got anything to do with the other and as such are mutually exclusive

They keep on claiming that the universe does not need to be run by God or any form of consciousness.
It can run by itself they say.
Isn't this to say that there is no God?

No. Just... no.

The absence of belief in a proposition does not mean acceptance of the counter proposition. I'd use the commonly understood 'courtroom' analogy: a defendant is judged 'guilty'/'not guilty' and not 'guilty'/'innocent'. The overwhelming majority of atheists, including on this board, hold the position that we don't know if there really is a 'god/s' or not however we don't/can't believe in any of the theistic proposition, offered so-far.

Quote:If these people would say instead.......WE THINK THAT THE UNIVERSE CAN RUN BY ITSELF.....then it
would indicate that there is an absence of a belief in God...
That is what is said. Further that's all that can be said when we examine all of the evidence that's been collected, so-far.

Quote:...but as far as they claim that there is no God...
Only anti-theists claim this and they generally make this claim in regard to specific god-claims. As it happens, I hold this position for all of the Abrahamic gods.

Quote:...with the backing of their own science than they automatically make a claim and therefore
your claim that atheism is an absence in the believe in God is faulty.  Smile
And again, no. You're conflating anti-theism with atheism and coming to an erroneous conclusion. This is quite common and results from theistic mischaracterisation of atheists. Theists of various kinds have defined 'atheism' in a variety if different ways, over time, in order to repress disbelief. Remember, to the ancient Romans, you would have been an atheist, too. In these days of civil progress and intellectual honesty, an elegant and universal definition of 'atheism' has been refined: 'an absence of belief in god/s'.
Sum ergo sum
