Not another force. You. Whatever 'you' is. We still aren't sure. But don't arbitrarily attribute agency to this. However, the things we are sure of tell us that what is likely true is that free will is not a real thing.
Also, take care to not appeal to emotion. Just because something would be nice, there is no reason based on that alone to consider that thing true.
Meaning, even if an illusion, is still important for us. Even if we only think we have free will, and we only think we have meaning, that doesn't mean that the consequences of thinking this way aren't as important to us.

Rather it's that God/Jesus/Yahweh/Jehovah/Allah will answer mundane prayers like, the woman finding her car keys, or the football player asking for a touchdown, but won't answer important prayers like the child in Africa asking for food to avoid starving to death.

Right. Then there's that part about Christians failing to provide compelling evidence or arguments.

Rational faith? You slay me, Chad. It's even funnier because the humor is unintentional.
It's amazing the bullshit you have to pull out of your ass to rationalize simply having no evidence for your pet claims.

Now, now . . . we'll have none of that. She's fourteen and a pastor's daughter.
Give her four to six years and she'll be handling that on her own with no help from you.

Both the evidence and arguments have been provided throughout history. You atheists just come up with excuses for not accepting them. The Holy Spirit is reaching out to you but you will not listen.

The spirit of rationality is reaching out to you, Chad, but you just won't listen. Why won't you listen, Chad?
You see how much of a condescending dick you sound like?
