Yeah, they're the same damn thing, except the punkins are shaped like little punkins and that makes all the difference in the world.

I work at a candy store. Some of these candies are good, and some of them aren't. But the ones I hate the most are the Mexican candies, largely because, while I hate spicy foods in general, I find something fundamentally insane (and not in a good way) about mixing spicy with sweet. Case in point: Recently, I found that there was only one Palerinda in stock and it had been opened. Palerindas, by the way, are Tamerind-flavored lollipops COATED IN CHILI POWDER. I threw the opened Palerinda out and spent the next couple minutes trying to get the Chili smell off my hands.
