Wait, are you a lady? And wait again, are you a lady that looks like Famke Janssen? And wait some more, are you a lady that looks like Famke Janssen who likes ducks?

Not really.

Yes, my avatar looks exactly like me.  I look like three beings, one a woman, and two that are divine creatures.  My avatar was selected because I wanted something that would make one think of ancient Greece, which befits my name.  It also is supposed to represent wine, women, and song (which I did not immediately realize when I selected it), and as I like wine, women, and song, it suits me well enough.  Here is a bigger picture so you can see:





The one on the left is playing a flute or pipe of some kind, and the one on the right is carrying a container of either grapes or wine, while holding a horn-shaped cup (which might be made from a horn).  The figure in the middle is a woman. It looks like she is joining in on the music, with little cymbals (or some such instruments) in her hands.  Notice that the figures on the right and left are not human, but are some kind of divine beings.

I chose this avatar because it happened to resemble me in a general sense and it seemed to reflect a bit of my personality as well; Cute enough without all the frills, and a little  intense when provoked.  

Nah, I look nothing like him, but most of you probably know that already

He does however resemble the violently analytical nature of my brain, which gets to work "deconstructing" things before I have asked it to.
