Fucking Cops

The problem I personally see with cops, is that they compare what they do, to what I did. Their "beat" is no different than a tour in Afghanistan. Which is pure bullshit. From a Veteran's perspective they're a bunch of wannabes. But wannabes packing more firepower than their training is capable of handling.
If I fucked up and shot the wrong person, or failed in some other task that took somebody's life, I would be tried under the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). The Police should be subject to the same, but are not. When they fuck up, they get to go to the softer civilian court. They've forgotten their job description, and it's costing american lives.

If you compare the cop on the beat with the men on the pointy end of the stick in Afghanistan I can't put much credibility into your statements. Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love. |
