One Thing I Miss About Church is....
|
I do miss the 'we're about to get pardoned' feel of the 'peace be with you' bit after communion.
After confirmation, at about the age of 16, I got slapped twice during mass. The distracting lady in the pew in front of me had a bit of a problem with her dress. I simply gave a gentile tug in order to remove her dress from her ass-crack. This resulted in the first slap. Having learned my lesson I proceeded to tuck her dress back in the crack of her ass. This earned me the more forceful second slap in the face.
The only thing I miss about church is being so goddamned sick I could plead out of it.
Church was psychological torture. I'd break down if I had to walk in there again. Nothing to miss about it
I've only ever been to church for christening weddings and funnerals. Still go to these when invited but feel rather uncomfortable. Like a lion in a den of Daniels.
You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis.
Being an acolyte on communion sunday. The luthers would serve the wine in little shot glasses. Some of the congregates would only touch it to their lips therefore left over wine. We were suppose to dump the leftovers is a jar. Guess what didn't happen.
When I stopped attending mini skirts were still very popular. Our church had a balcony and all the teenage girls thought it was cool to sit up there. It produced a very nice viewing angle and gave me something worth praying for.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
