Sorry, what were we saying?
Am I the only one with thoughts of tying the stem into a knot with my tongue? (blush, then creeps away)
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

RE: Hi, I'm a newbie!
Wow, I'm stunned by the welcome.  Thanks so much.

I've had a bit of a cruise through the science forums and some of the other threads.  The thing I really noticed about this site and what really convinced me to join was the lack of bitching/fighting.  Everyone seems to get along.

Cherry on top.  Hahaha!

Yeah, we have fundies, and agreed, not at the level of you guys in the U.S.  Unfortunately with our current noxious, right-wing government the atmosphere here is perfect for ignorance, bigotry and hate to flourish.  Our prime minister won't even let his ministers have a conscience vote on same sex marriage.

I'm going to bother Alex K. a lot I think.  I definitely need simple explanations and I'll stick to English.  I did German in high school, I can still count to ten in it.   Big Grin

Again, thanks for the super welcome, you've made me feel right at home.
"I refuse to prove that I exist", says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith, I am nothing."
"But," says man, "the Babel Fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it?  It could not have evolved by chance.  It proves You exist, and so therefore, by Your own arguments, You don't.  QED."
"Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that,"  and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic.

Wait until Randy gets back from his two-week ban... I believe we're lifting it in a couple of hours.

Two weeks is not enough time for him to change his act.

There's an outside chance if it's a sex act, but other than that...................

Cherry, as you may know, our govt may change from one flavour of obnoxiousness to another overnight!
Abbott survived one leadership spill, ya reckon he'll survive another?
Can Turnbull do any worse?

We'll know tomorrow! hehe
Catch.

I've been watching this.  I'm hoping Turnbull wins.  I don't think he could do any worse than Abbott, he seems to be a more progressive politician.  As you say, we'll see.   Smile
