This is Heidi Rose. She is the most athletic dog I'ver ever had. But their are a couple of Malinois (Belgian Shepherd Dogs) in my neighborhood who seem even more athletic than she is.

Did they have to wire/screw the jaw? Soft food only diet? Up side, no chewing on the furniture/chords to worry about yet.

I love them at this age. So much energy. Everything is an adventure.

Pets are cute. They don't have free will but I still love them - just like my compassion for myself and my friends, free will is not a requirement for deep love

Apparently he is too young for that.  So he'll have to get by with wearing the snug muzzle and cone 24/7.  Yep soft food only.  Thank the FSM, he has his appetite back and my god does he ever work hard to get the mask and muzzle off.  But he is still sleeping well in his crate all night.

Yeah, he pees and poops pretty unconsciously.  So far I'm just working on praising outdoor potty-going and getting him out there right after each feeding and nap.  No leg lifting yet and no marking either.

Yesterday I bought him a harness small enough and walked him around the neighborhood.  No demands yet, just taking advantage of his puppy instinct to stick close.

Good luck with him.... or at least better luck than you have had so far!

It's amazing how they adjust to wearing something like that.
