Salem is about 40 minutes from Corvallis, though you sound like you already know that. Come to think of it, I need to deliver artwork to Corvallis about once a month anyways.
My ex's grandparent's lived in Broomfield. I spent a lot of time there.
Dad lives in Keizer and when I was attending North Salem High, I lived just back from 17th and Center. Dad still owns the house there...
Yeah, I know the area real well.
Ah then you have no excuse not to drop me a line in September. We are in South Salem just up the hill from Liberty and Kuebler. Seriously, I'd be very happy to make you dinner.

Of course you do! ROCK CRUSHORZ FTW
Indeed. It's a physics-geek filled town. Really. My first boyfriend's father won the Nobel there for making making a small amount of stuff very cold with lasers (*slight* oversimplification*). He's in town at the Nat'l Bureau of Standards. And then there's NCAR and the NOAA and the rest of the alphabet soup.

I'm failing to sleep -__-
Meeting Violet at the airport later this morning and need to leave around 5am. Its 1:30am and I'm still not even close to tired xD
Hoping I can tire myself out soon and at least get a couple hours rest.

Had to place my comcast order again because they discovered I owed them money. Went with internet alone and no TV.

I'm thinking of opening a B&B would I have more luck coastal or in the mountains!
I would say it's probably way more complex than mountain or coastal. What the tourism like in the particular area. Not all mountain/coastal towns are resort towns. What is there to do in the area? Good restaurants? Big attractions? Are the local attractions year 'round or seasonal. Places like Estes Park have numerous successful B&Bs due to Rocky Mountain National Park being quite literally on the town's western edge. Breckenridge does well because of the skiing in the winter and the hiking/back country camping in the summer (lots of trail heads nearby). Places like Idaho Springs and Frisco get by because they're right on the freeway, but they're not boom tourism towns and the number of B&Bs reflect that.
All other things being equal, I'd put one in the mountains if I were going to open one, but I'm a mountain boy.
