I watched all six episodes, but I'll be surprised if it comes back.

Glenn will probably escape under the dumpster OR be so covered in zombie stank that he skates by unnoticed.

He won't be right in the head, though.

If that was actually Glenn who was being ripped apart by the zombies rather than Nicholas then it would have been a deviation from TWD comics version. He has yet to meet Negan and Lucille.

Wouldn't be the first deviation...

Lucille's a nasty little thing, isn't she?
Meeting her is as bad getting ripped apart by zombies...almost.

It had decent viewership, probably enough to warrant a return. Wouldn't miss it if it got canceled, though.

I would. I like this season. I haven't been bored or put off by any of the seasons, though I do have my favorites. This one's damned interesting and exciting, IMO.

I just finished it...

Am I the only one who was a little bit... not unhappy to see Glen possibly getting eaten?

He's a nice guy, and think he's alright as a character and whatnot, but he's never been my favorite and even when I liked him more than I do now he was never a "I hope he doesn't die!!" character for me.

My thought process went thusly: "Aw, Nick killed himself. Serves him right, the asshole. Oh, oops, Glen fell off the thing? Are they eating him or Nick who's on top of him? Did they fall off together? Is Glen really being eaten? Is he really dead? Oh, well, that's kinda sad, but at least a prominent character bit it. Now if only they'd kill off Maggie..."

I thought they had already been renewed for a second, and maybe a third, season?

Other things:

Kinda wondering what's up with Daryl. He seems to be in a depressive funk and he and Rick aren't on the same page which is... interesting. He doesn't really seem to be on the same page as anyone except, maybe, Aaron.

Rick got cut? They made a big deal out of it, showing him looking at it and dealing with it a lot, so I'm wondering if they're going to try and play up him being infected. Has it been established that you can turn by getting a walker's blood into your body? I assume that's what was going on early on when they would freak out over whether you got scratched or not. But they ain't gonna kill Rick.

Michonne had an interesting little story line here. I thought her speech about "have you ever had so much blood on you that you didn't know whether it was walkers', your friends' or yous?" was kind of ham-fisted but whatever, I'll roll with it. Thought the dude with dreds was a bit of an asshole, and we got lots more of the Alexandrians questioning the group which is annoying but believable since we've only progressed about an hour in TWD-time since the season premier.

I'm waiting for

since they previewed that in the season trailer, so it's not going to be a huge surprise when it happens, but, you know, I'm just waiting for it to happen so I get to see what happens next.

Still annoyed Maggie is alive.

Overall a decent episode. Not as good as 5.2, better than the premier.

Could be. Not sure I'll bother with it though. The idea of a heron addict being mentally tough enough to deal with the walking dead stretches credulity too far. One impossibility is the most any show can hope to get it's viewers to support in their suspension of disbelief.

My current ranking

iZombie > TWD > zNation > FTWD

And yes, they already said FTWD has been renewed for season 2. It's pretty much a cash grab and filler for in-between TWD seasons, so there is not much need to cancel it.

As for Glenn, nope it seemed pretty clear to me that he had Nick on top of him and Nick was the one being eaten. One thing I don't understand is, why they made such a big deal with Rick's injury? It's not like they are gonna actually replace him anytime soon.

Well, at least I hope the wolves will get more facetime next episode.

What I find interesting (or potentially interesting) about FTWD is the potential culture-differences between East Coast and West Coast, and also the opportunity for the exploration of the American West in a zombie-apocalypse. I see a lot of potential for FTWD to turn into a kind of new-fangled cowboy show, which could be cool, or it could be really stupid.

If junkie boy gets eaten early I may give the second season a go. The show's got stuff that could work out to be interesting, but not with junkie boy as a main character.

Maybe they can kill him off by having him try to go back to raid his dealer's stash. Big Grin
