As everyone keeps telling just about every proselytizer that posts here, the one making the claim for the existence of something is the one responsible for providing the proof. Our skepticism simply needs scientific proof. If you say "god exists" then you must provide the proof. Put up or shut up.

Delicate, just to get this straight...
You contend:
My car has no belief in any god or gods so it is devoutly of the atheist religion.
My driveway has no belief in any god or gods so it is devoutly of the atheist religion.
A newborn baby has no belief in any god or gods so it is devoutly of the atheist religion.
If you were to have specified that adherence to strong atheism in which the positive claim is made that no god or gods exist you might have had a point.
Since you miss the distinction, I have to invoke Hanlon's Razor.
