Just got back from taking my Princess's flowers and birthday card to the cemetery. Want to go back. I hate being torn away.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I might kind of understand how you feel.  When my younger brother was killed in a car he was driving us both in just down the road from where we both were living, I used to return to the spot at night when I couldn't sleep.  I knew intellectually that he wasn't there, hell he wasn't anywhere.  But being there somehow made it possible to feel closer to him than being at home.  Of course, to lose a lover and a mate has got to be the toughest thing in the world.

Have you ever met someone since who has also lost someone close to them?  Seems like that might make it easier to get close to someone else by being able to share the depths of the feelings you still have for the ones are no longer there.

Oh gawds I buried half my stuff in storage when I moved and I forgot all about this back brace my orthopedist gave me. It feels like heaven.
