It's 9:12 AM local time, and I doubt I will hear or read anything more wrong-headed all day.

Congratulations, dumb ass.

Nay_Sayer
wrong; Evidence is the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid, evidence can be faulty and misinterpreted.[/b]

Go ahead Sayer.
Play with word meaning as much as you like but please take a bit of advise from LR before you
go to court to testify.  Tut Tut
Just make sure your evidence is 100% correct or you can end up behind bars for perjuring.  Diablo

Quote:A statements that come without solid evidence is better known as dogma.

wrong; Dogma is a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true, Statements that have no evidence are just rubbish or in the case of this thread, Each one of your posts.

Still playing with words Sayer?  Tut Tut
Sarkar gave a better explanation to the word dogma.
He said that dogma is an incontrovertibly truth that get locked up in a corral and is prevented from being challenged by anybody.
This truth can be said by anyone not just from an authority that is why when you guys state that the
consciousness is a product of the brain and other similar unproven stories then i have to intervene and
report your so called truth as dogmas.  Smile

Because then Little Rik's mental monkey diarrhea would just end up splattered and smeared all over the forums. This thread keeps it contained - somehow.

Also - if you put Little Rik on ignore list, this thread makes - like - a thousand percent more sense. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Tongue

You remind me that plumber that pretend to know everything about electrical cables.
Sorry son but physical science is not able to understand consciousness as consciousness is not something physical.  Indubitably

Quote:The consciousness that we got we inherited from previous generation......yeah......obvious.

Quote:If you are referring to inheritable traits, yes.

Wrong again Moon.
First of all you got to prove that something can get inheritable, after that we can continue the issue.
As far as the life teach us we get nothing for free.
Everything is achieved by our own hard work whether it is physically-mentally or spiritually.
A piece of puzzle or mosaic can only get in the big picture if it fit perfectly.
According to this logic you born where you born because you fit in that place.
You could have born anywhere else or anything else if you fit better in a different situation so NO
there is no such a thing as inheritance.

Quote:We only got the physical senses..........yeahhhhhhh......obvious.

Quote:Through the use of our intellect, we have extended those senses quite a bit with technology, but yes, the overwhelming mountains of evidence points to our 5 senses being the only ones we have.
If you believe you can demonstrate otherwise, apply for the James Randy $1,000,000 challenge and become rich and famous. Or donate the money.

Are you saying that we experience love with one of our physical senses?

Quote:The universe started with the big bang.....yeahhhh.........obvious.

Quote:That's what the demonstrable, testable, repeatable, and most importantly, falsifiable evidence points to.
But that is only the current state of our universe. It might have existed before the BB in a different state.

Well, well then we also started with the big bang.
We got exactly the same qualification as the universe.
We got matter, water, heat, air and space.
Can't you see how ridiculous you are?  Wink

Quote:When the body die is all over........yeahhhhhhhhh......obvious.

NDEs already demonstrate otherwise so when can i get the price?  Smile

Atheism. The unscientific belief. (part three)
Well, well, i was thinking what present should i give to my little mates from the atheist forum
for Christmas so i came up with something a bit unusual that i am sure will help you to understand
better how the whole system works.  Lightbulb
Let us talk about the universe.
Atheists in general think that the universe can do without a mind or God but wait a minute guys.
The universe has got what we also humans got.
It has matter, water, heat-light-energy, air and space.
We, beside our body also got a mind and a consciousness so why this universal body should also not have
a mind and consciousness that control it?
Have you ever seen a body alive without a head?  Shifty
Even a zombie got a head (whether it works is a different story) but a head-mind-consciousness is there anyway wherever there is a body.
So, just guess what this controlling mind suppose to be?
You never thought about it, did you guys?  I'm all ears!

Congratulations, Rikky, help yourself to a goldfish.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Oh, my God i just feel embarrassed to talk to such a demented idiot intelligent person like you with such a big reputation.
But sorry for asking....does you comment mean that the universal body doesn't have a mind?
I mean ...we are dealing with a headless body.  I'm all ears!
