Wait, what? This is news to me.

The F.B.I did more harm then good, private emails and privacy are very important to hold on to at all costs. To catch only 137, was not worth the time nor money. They could of spent that time and money and looked at male and female school teachers and gotten more arrests then a 137! Yes, female teachers in there 30's are excluded from being punished for sleeping with a 15 or 16 year old student.

It's a routing service to cover your tracks, not an access key. If you have been banned from a site and still want to get in, then it can help with this.

Thats cool and all but do we *really* want to share that on this site?

Seems like a slippery slope to suggest this initially but quite honestly I think it's a valid point.
Saying it's justifiable for the people who are supposed to maintain the law, to break it, is on its very face a double standard that surely defies what those maintaining the law are supposed to represent?

Yeah, it's not a super secret thing. Almost everyone knows what Tor is.

Why the fuck not? It's for anybody who's interested in protecting their privacy against prying eyes (your know, every threat from commercial spammers to targeted malware producers). I have no moral qualms against dispelling malicious myths, just as you have none against the systematic murder of the innocent.

I meant because people who were banned by this site might now use it?

Again, almost everyone already knows what Tor is. If people wanted to use it to evade their bans or whatever, they would have done it by now. There's nothing wrong with discussing Tor and we will continue to do so.
