What is funny is you really think you are different than everyone else.
Well I as a Muslim don't worship Jesus pbuh, or Buddah, or Vishnu. Yahweh is a name for God but in the Hebrew language. Since I worship God in the Arabic language I call Him Allah.

Oh you thought you were pleading to us? Nope, the reality you don't want to face, is that you are merely fishing for excuses to believe in a fictional sky wizard. Humans for the most part get sold from birth the religions of their parents and society. If you had been born in Japan you'd be raised, Buddhist, Shintoist, or atheist. If you had been born in Ireland you'd be raised Catholic or Protestant. If you'd been born a Native American you'd be sold their spirit gods. If you had been born in Tibet, you'd be raised Buddhist. If you had been born in India, you'd be raised Hindu or Sikh. And again, Hebrews stole the polytheistic storm/warrior god Yahweh from Canaanite polytheism and decided to start a new religion based on that god. Humans make up ALL gods. There is no such thing as a cosmic sky wizard by any name. Now instead of thinking I am trying to hurt you, how about trying to consider I am trying to offer you a better view of reality without superstition?
But what is the point of life if we don't have an invisible buddy who hides in another dimension and does nothing? I just don't think I'm ready to face that possibility.

God Allah is not just some mystical being with magic powers. He is the Creator of the heavens and the Earth and all between. This is how mighty and powerful He is. When He decides upon a matter, He only says to it "Be" and it is. Simple as that. He is the Only One who can do this and He has guided me to His path of light and He alone, is the only One I bow and prostrate in worship to. About being born into certain religions. I agree that certain countries have a higher certain religious percentage than others. But I tell u this Islam is the world's fastest growing religion. There are almost 2 billion Muslims worldwide. And the number is climbing. Now is everybody going to be Muslim? Not if Allah doesn't guide them. For those who He guides to His light, none can lead them astray. But those whom He leaves to stray, none can guide them.(January 27, 2016 at 10:20 am)Sheed1980 Wrote: Well I as a Muslim don't worship Jesus pbuh, or Buddah, or Vishnu. "He is the Creator"
I know you like claiming that. I also know you like believing it. So what. In our species history, there are much older god claims than the one you want to believe in now. There are also still today 10,000s of god claims you rightfully reject. Now, instead of repeating yourself, try considering humans make up ALL god claims and that there is no cosmic wizard controlling everything. WE do get the emotional appeal of the idea, many of us wanted a god to be real ourselves, including me. We simply woke up. You have yet to wake up. What would be so horrible about life if you found out there was no god helping you? You already accept that Apollo isn't helping you. You already accept the Egyptian god Horus isn't helping you. The only difference between you and me is that I reject one more god claim than you do. You think it is impossible to live your life and enjoy it if you don't believe in a god? Hate to burst your bubble, but we already live our lives fine without believing in Allah. Just like you live your life fine without believing in Vishnu. Not believing does not mean the atheist is an emotionless robot, or lawless incapable of emotion. It only means we don't assign life to old claims and naked assertions that have no evidence for them. Over 120,000 prophets? Source please. Where is the evidence for this claim? I know that the Quran says several times all "nations" got prophets but they must have been pretty awful at relaying their message to the Aztecs, say, who ripped people's hearts out in sacrifice because they were afraid the sun wouldn't rise the next day. How did message from their messenger mutate that much? It makes it look as though Allah is very incompetent.
