but now let us talk about the issue that yoga knew ..... about evolution "thousands of years ago.

I guess your brain is capable of understanding the meaning of creation and sustenance or maintaining this universe but the last word (dissolution) i am sure you can not get it  Banging Head On Desk  so i will explain you his meaning.
By evolving the consciousness one is able to go back to the original status by merging in the ocean of cosmic consciousness and becoming one with it so the individual consciousness dissolve as a drop of water dissolve by entering the ocean.
This dissolve is all about the evolution of consciousness that lose his identity as it become the supreme consciousness or God.
As you can see yoga already knew about creation and evolution thousand years ago.
You never thought about it Sofa, did you?  Smile
(emphasis mine)

All you've done is take the word 'evolution' and tell a story based on a different meaning of the word than the one in question. Nobody was talking about "the evolution of consciousness" which is just your made-up bullshit fairy tale. The evolution in question was biological evolution, which is something altogether different from your fairy tale, which, I might add, even you confess is poorly evidenced in the history. Once again you've taken a piece out of context and used it as the beginning of a purely ad hoc rant about the details of your 'system'. Nobody cares about your system because it's all a bunch of religious hooey mounted on the back of just-so stories, bare assertions, and irrelevant blathering.

The evidence that mine is not a guess is there for all to see.
Physical science doesn't know what is the relationship between consciousness and evolution,
when and where evolution start, where and when it end, it doesn't know whether the evolution start when consciousness sort of wake up or this has nothing to do with consciousness.
It doesn't know the reason why evolution start in the first place.
It just guess and guess and guess again and again and then you have the audacity to say that i am
the one guessing.
Get real son.  Smile

Au contraire. Evolution is a concept in biology. It is what underlies your cute little malapropism. (Your welcome.)

Oh, and nice work with the quotes. =)

Actually i was reply to Sofa that asked for evidence about how yoga knew about evolution long long time ago so i show how Shiva thousand years ago was giving this type of knowledge.
Yoga is interested in the evolution of consciousness because this type of evolution is able to take you to the goal of life.  Lightbulb
Biological evolution is ok.
There is nothing wrong with it but as far as even a cave man can get the nirvana this biological evolution
is not even near the requirement to get the nirvana.
Your problem yog is that you got in your brain the understanding that consciousness has nothing to do with evolution or perhaps consciousness is not important in the context of evolution.
I got bad news for you yog.
Evolution is all about the awakening of the consciousness.
Without this awakening evolution is not possible.
A body need an awareness to function and this awareness is called consciousness.

Sorry yog but you never add anything that make sense. Banghead
Try again but please think before you come up with this garbage.   Hi

As i had bad news for yog i also got bad news for you son.
The concept of evolution didn't start with the modern scientific knowledge.
It started ages ago with yoga when Shiva was explaining how to move from
small consciousness to big consciousness.
This concept of evolution refer to the evolution of the consciousness not of the
biological body.
Later on this concept of consciousness evolution going from small to big was also used
to describe the biological changes from less evolved to more evolved.  Lightbulb

Now all you have left to do is to show evidence for something that is NOT physical which cannot be understood by using a physical tool.

Is a pity that you are not paying attention to what i already explained several times.
I said...........CAN YOU GIVE EVIDENCE THAT YOU ARE IN LOVE?
Suppose someone pop up and ask you that question?
What would you say?
You probably would say....OF COURSE I AM IN LOVE WITH SUCH AND SUCH A PERSON.
But that pedantic nutter will not believe.
How would you explain then considering that love is something within very hard to extrapolate except
when you love someone?
Not easy son but now consider this.
Physical love is hard enough to extrapolate so how can extrapolate something a lot more subtle like
spiritual love?
Maybe (as i already said) in the future will invent something able to see deep inside who knows.
In the past highly spiritual people were represented with an aura or aureola on the head.
In the meantime the only way to reveal whether God exist or not is to engage in spirituality.
By digging deep within in your subconscious you will be able to find the real gold and have evidence that God is there.  Lightbulb

I am very sorry for you yog.  Consoling
I quite understand that to bang the head on the wall is hard  Banghead but until you will
insist in procrastinate the dogma there is no other choice around.
The leading factor in evolution is clearly the awakening of the consciousness.
Without it the biological body goes nowhere.  Lightbulb

happen without an awakening of consciousness?  Thanks
