I am pretty much the same in terms of meanness in irl and in here. Though in irl I am a lot more emotional and in here I try to adopt a more emotionless sociopathic persona.

About the same.
Even-keeled and relatively friendly. Slightly detached.
Periodic displays of viciousness, when provoked.

I'm the same. My mantra is I don't say anything online I wouldn't say to someone's face.

If someone who knew me rather well IRL would encounter me here, they would probably recognize the person they know and not be too surprised. I can be more acerbic online but that's because I hear more stupid stuff online than otherwise. I tend to be a bit more diplomatic irl.

Ok how's this: When I had a glass of wine or two, I am in real life roughly the way I am when sober online
I'm not a very mean drunk anyways.

I voted for "meaner on the forum". By far, I'm better and more direct at expressing my emotions and thoughts writing, not so good at expressing myself orally.

I think that my real self has some things going for it that don't translate to my internet self. You can;t really -be- anything approaching your whole self without turning your post into an emoji minefield...and when you're all done shitting up your post it's still not even close, amiright?
This. There's a fuller range of shades of expression in real life because you can hear and see my tone, of course, but I try to communicate it in writing as well. And, in a way you can't communicate in writing without deliberate affectation, I've been known to either go full Jew with Yiddish cursing, or full southern with accent and all, when I get angry in real life.
Also, nothing in writing translates Rhythm's manic expression when you're watching him over google hangouts while he types a response to an idiot here and he's probably high and also you can only see him from the top of his nose up.

Pretty much - the same. Only in RL I tend to avoid discussion on religion, especially with strangers, or loose acquaintances because I don't particularly care what people privately believe, and as long as they keep it to themselves - I have no need to convince anyone. Except perhaps people I care about.
I come to this forum specifically to express my feelings towards superstition, without bothering people, who don't want to hear it. But if someone insists on pushing nonsense on me in RL - I tend to express the same opinions, using the same colorful language as I do online.
I may not bring mothers and bestiality into the discussion quite as often, in RL...

Thanks for besmirching the good name of enemas.
