The miracles in the bible were confirmed by the prophets, jesus, and the HG. Why would god not confirm his miracles with his close relationships is the purpose of his miracles is to expose his glory?

Even fucking AL-queda claims their actions though a confirming spokesman.

I'm not sure how to answer your question because I don't understand what you're asking.

Simplified - Why doesn't/can't the church ask god directly which miracles are true and which are wannabee frauds. (and publish his exact wording)

Who told you I've never done that? Plus, the burden here is on you, not me. You seem confident that this is all legit, so I thought maybe all of a sudden you had an example that would finally explain to me such confidence. But at this point, all I can surmise is that you're just intellectually a little lazy, and that is why you are quick to believe certain things without doing enough fact-checking ...

Or, she doesn't care about converting you so she leaves you to figure it out yourself.

Isn't that exactly what we've been wanting the theists to do? Quit preaching and let us reach our own conclusions?

No need for preaching (from her). She made a claim, and I challenged her to back it up with a good example. That is the opposite of asking her to preach.

Up to her to not provide any, but I am not being unreasonable in seeing it as her being unable to find one such example. If she did, she would have likely provided it.

I wonder who has more loot, the Catholics or the Mormons ?

Might take several miracles to find out.

I've never heard of a church whose main goal isn't to "catch fish", as long as they were the right skin color..

If the Catholics want a real miracle, they should turn all their pedo priests in, and stop transferring them and keeping it quiet. Now THERE is something that would be unexplainable except by supernatural means.

Oh, I agree. As long as we're talking about churches. The individual members though are as varied as any other group and (with the exception of groups like the mormons, where it compulsory) each have their own ideas regarding evagelism. But, Catholics are not, as a group, terribly evangelical despite the occasional idiot like Randy.

I get pissed off with claims of a "miracle" when cancer patients go into spontaneous remission.

It happens. The reason for it is being studied but is likely genetic.
