"I may be fat, but I beat my eating disorder"

I don't mind being backed up though.
The forum suggestion was 'consider making a new thread'. I did consider it, and my conclusion was that that would be stupid.
"Faith is a state of openness or trust. To have faith is like when you trust yourself to the water. You don't grab hold of the water when you swim, because if you do you will become stiff and tight in the water, and sink. You have to relax, and the attitude of faith is the very opposite of clinging, and holding on. In other words, a person who is fanatic in matters of religion, and clings to certain ideas about the nature of God and the universe becomes a person who has no faith at all. Instead they are holding tight. But the attitude of faith is to let go, and become open to truth, whatever it might turn out to be."
Alan Watts
I have no problem with people who can't control their weight because of some reason or other, but those that choose to look like that, I have no qualms calling disgusting and unattractive, because that's what they are to me. If they are fine with mine and others' similar impressions of them, that's just dandy. If they're not, they should lose some fucking weight.
I don't think necroposting applies, as the above poster mentioned. This is a topic that may be discussed for as long as there are fat people out there who choose to be fat. This isn't really about choice most of the time. It just happens ... RE: "I may be fat, but I beat my eating disorder"

(Not saying that you were saying otherwise, though). Like, i'm 2 pounds underweight, and some people treat me like i'm gonna die because of it, (I'm not, those lot are just a bit silly.) but i have no actual choice in it. I don't actively go out of my way to keep it like that, it just naturally sits there, no matter how much i eat. (Not trying to make this about me or anything, before anyone yells or w/e, i just thought it might be a bit of interesting input.)
"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. For if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes unto you."
Well, the woman mentioned in the OP clearly chose to be like that. You can't have it both ways. You're either naturally too slim or too heavy. I find it hard to believe that she wasn't able to struck a balance.
Also, lots of other people choose to be fat as well, when they eat everything in their path and don't exercise enough. How is this even an argument?!
But hey, beauty is subjective anyway. All I'm saying is she's clearly idiotic if she thinks putting on too much weight deliberately is not something you should be ashamed about, because it is. Now that I take a closer look at the second picture, she doesn't seem all that fat to me, but what she's writing is clearly wrong at the same time.

Also, I may be excused for calling her fat and shaming her for it when it's clearly something she identifies herself as and actually worked to get there.
Attractiveness correlates with personality as well, not only physical appearance. I find her overall attitude very displeasing, and idiocy is never attractive to begin with.
