It does have a non-establishment clause which guarantees protection of individuals against religiously-motivated government actions. It certainly applies to US citizens, so the only question is whether it can be suspended for non-citizens. People are more than happy to accuse any critics of Islam being racist or, as they like to call it, "Islamophobic". ISIS is Islamic. They call themselves that, and they follow the corresponding doctrine. So why is it in any way bigoted? It's just the truth. I don't like Islam, and at times I'm scared of it. I don't want my children to live in a world where near half the population is Muslim. I don't dislike Muslims. I'm sure many can be perfectly fine and friendly. What I do dislike is Islam, how barbaric it can be. I think it's violent, and calling Islam the "religion of peace" makes me want to shove an ice pick through my ear.

I remember there being a huge uproar about some guy coating military rounds in pig fat. He did this because it is decreed in the Quran that the flesh of swine is impure so by his reckoning these bullets would be a one way ticket to hell to any insurgents they hit. Basically a way of scaring the shit out of them.
Now heres the thing that confused me about that uproar; yes its abit insane but if ISIS is truly opposed to the values of Islam... aren't they going to hell anyway? So why the outrage? Its little things like that that indicate to me that ISIS is far from operating without approval. In the minds of those people theres a sizable chance that their souls aren't utterly damned.

Indeed. The politics of Islam is so unbelievably shaky and complex that I struggle to get my head around it, personally. I believe it's very possible that Middle Eastern nations have sanctioned these acts of terrorism (see the current unstable state of Syria and the rest of the world), so we begin to realise that Islam could well be less of a religious sect and more an agenda pushing scaremonger for the Eastern nations who, by the way, have been known to support by majority Sharia law as universal in their respective nations (by public population, I mean, not by government). However, I could simply be paranoid.
