SURVIVOR
RE: SURVIVOR
I think the Brawn tribe will continue to lose more challenges until the swap. I think last night's win was a lucky fluke.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I agree. The brawn tribe is the socially most inept crew I can remember on survivor for a while. I wouldn't expect to like a beauty tribe but they're the best.

Finally got caught up courtesy of bittorrent.

LOL @ the Brawn tribe. They're self-destructing, and the remaining men are... ugh. Best to pray for a shuffling of the tribes.

So many annoying personalities on the Brains tribe. I'm gonna wait until things get shaken up a bit before I start picking favorites.

I have no doubt all the heat injuries from the last episode happened (and having been through heat exhaustion many times, but not heat stroke, I feel for them all), but the drama queening was almost hilarious. I really could. Not. Stand. Jeff being around. Just let the EMS folks do their thing. Ugh.

That said, I was sorry to see Alecia go. I was beginning to like her. I do like Scot, though, and am happy he's still around. I'm wondering if he will win. Also Tai. Those glasses make him look wise or something. Like some guy you'd find ON the island when you arrived.

I like the B v B v B team format, but disagree with which teams some were put on. I wonder what the merge will be like.

Of all the people to be medivac'd I wouldn't have guess it would be Caleb. He must have been in terrible shape to be medivac'd for heat stroke.

After someone dropped the bomb that it would definitely be Alecia being voted out I was expecting an upset so this was a boring tribal after a rather intense episode.

Didn't Jeff say that Alecia was put on Brawn not because she was physically strong but because she doesn't take anyone's crap? That seems like a tenuous reason to put someone on a tribe whose moniker denotes physical prowess. Undecided

Yeah, he sure did. That annoyed me, too. Definite "beauty".

But it might be neat to have groups that are personality-themed next time.

Or it could be a complete clusterfuck.

I was kind of surprised they'd put them through an ordeal that put three of them at risk. Kind of irresponsible.

Just watched it. Yeah, I realize that they wanted this to be the toughest season to date....but that was really too much.

I don't think those kind of grueling challenges are appropriate for the climate, not when there's three heat casualties including a life-threatening heat stroke.

I do agree that Probat should have dropped the drama llama act and let EMS do their jobs. Hello Jeff, there was already plenty of drama. Caleb was going to probably fucking die without intervention.

All that being said, I was on the edge of my seat during that sequence. It's heady drama for sure, but I hope it's a one-time thing.

As far as Alicia goes, meh, it pretty much had to be her and everyone knew it. While it may not have been entirely her fault, her remaining on the tribe was going to be toxic. The other three just could not stand her. It will be interesting to see if the three remaining Brawnies can pull it together. I kind.of want to root for them - being underdogs - but my inclination is to root for the Brains.

I wouldn't be surprised to see see tribes consolidate to two next week, and a merge at 12. I don't recall off the top of my head when they have done merges and such with 6x3 tribes.

Yes - it's not like they can claim ignorance of the conditions of the players (dehydration, malnutrition, etc) or the weather. They should plan these things out a little better.

Agree. I want to see people scheming and plotting, not dying.

Mine, too. Debbie is loony tunes but they seem like the ones with the most compelling story right now.

I do like Tai, but I don't know anyone else from that tribe now that Caleb is gone.

OMG she's worse than Coach.

Wait wait wait... The two of them should get together and have a love child.

Hmm, on second thought, maybe not.
