I just don't see it. I saw the original in 1977 as well as the sequels during their original runs. I see no difference between the originals and the sequels other than Hayden Christensen's horrible acting and George Lucas' greater access to special effects.

Star Wars is what it is: Very cool visuals and concept but ultimately childish. I don't see how the originals were different in that regard.

Guilty of many things I do, such as smoking or drinking too much beer. But when it comes down to guilty pleasures, it's definitely video games. Especially RPGs. Guilty because I work at home and often times fire up a game instead of working.
