"Christian eschatology is a major branch of study within Christian theology. Eschatology, from two Greek words meaning "last" (ἔσχατος) and "study" (-λογία), is the study of 'end things', whether the end of an individual life, the end of the age, the end of the world and the nature of the Kingdom of God."
In other words, the study of "end times" from a book of fables about a god that doesn't exist. You have to do more than stick your nose in the air and tell people that you know the "truth" and that humans are desperately wicked. (yawn) Prove it. Facts, not fairy tales and threats.

I've never considered it mere coincidence that "eschatological" and "scatological" are so similar.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Well sure. After a few hundred people telling me that I'm stupid and deluded and disordered and going to burn forever for not believing their outrageous fairy tales, and not believing in their imaginary friend, a person gets a little testy. Xtians aren't humble - they are proud to their bones that they have the RIGHT sky-daddy, and that THEY are going to get to cheer and jeer from THEIR heaven while watching all the stupid evil people burn. They tell the most outrageous unbelievable tales, and act superior when you don't have enough "faith" to buy into their bullshit. And they come to internet forums like this one, to tell the sinners that we need to listen to THEM.
It doesn't take too long before you ask for proof of the ridiculous tales, and they point to the book they got them from. And they seem incapable of understanding that we could do that with a Mother Goose book and have just as much credibility.
Faith is pretending to know things that you don't know.

I love that cartoon.

That really says a whole lot of nothing, snowtracks. We've barely begun to explore space. God's invisible qualities of eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, understood from what has been made, so there aren't any atheist. Why they say they are is that God places demands on morality.

Apparently you have read a different bible than I. How is Satan evil? He freed Adam and Eve from their enslavement.
And god is kind? Dashing babies heads, floods, wars, etc.. Then there is poor Job that bought into god's bullshit and god fucked him over.
The only thing Satan did was piss off god.

Bollocks. Pure bollocks. God's invisible powers remain invisible, which is to say nonexistent.
