Also, Christianity may be the largest religion in the world, but Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, unfortunately. Which means very soon, it will be the largest religion in the world. Sorry to say, but math has that effect on... uhhh... stuff...
Christianity has a 600 year head start and Islam was mostly a middle east religion until the past 200 years.

Paul would be better credited with creating it. And "created" isn't really the word, better to say he spearheaded the remake made to appeal to western audiences.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Tacticus, a Roman Historian wrote of the Christians and of Christus, who was crucified for crimes by Pilate. He didn't say Pilate was a governor though.
