 I would definitely go to the doctor about that! Time for me to jump into action and do some stuff. Feed and clean out the rabbits, then off into town to do some multi-part quests! I mean errands! The XP better be good. Feel free to send me a private message.

I still can't sleep, so I unpacked my netbook. It's somewhat easier to use than a tablet, but I still miss my desktop. I've got a desktop that I started building but never finished. My old desktop runs XP. But I've got a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate. I'll have to bring the partial build up to bootable operation and install it. It was booting, but I hadn't figured out the graphics card dance on it before I stopped working on it. It will be a better desktop than my old one. I think I'll install a 4 TB RAID 1 array on it and retire my file server. I'll miss hardware RAID 6, but themachine has no place to et it up in my remodeled apartment. (It's really changed a lot. They renovated it to be handicapped accessible. Walls were removed. The kitchen was made more open. Now I'm worried. Maybe I will go to the doctor. I thought someone would say they've had the same thing and it'll pass, just massage it, or something like that.
Well, let's hope it's nothing serious. But I don't think you can afford to take the chance with symptoms like this. It's certainly not a waste of the doctor's time.

Ratz. My expensive add-in graphics card won't initialize the display. Grrrr.
ETA: Egads am I rusty. I neglected to add a PCIE aux power cable to the mix. Good to know it wasn't a bad video card. |
