And regarding mental health she says that pressure on mental health services is already at breaking point and if there's a recession it will only get worse.

Admittedly, that's gonna suck for me. A lot.

I'm still fairly pleased.

Add to that the entire bloc of EU members voting for the travel and trade regulations/tariffs imposed on the UK.

The UK economy better hold the fuck on.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

How is it that you were compelled to vote against your own interests Bella? Or, if you prefer...what pleasing things balance out the shitty things. What is it that you, personally, are expecting to come out of this?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

People were misled and lied to. Add to that the fact that 99% of people don't understand the EU anyway, and you have a vote which is entirely based on feelings and not economics.

That's a given.  What about, though, what were they promised (and how was whatever that is supposed to be achieved)?

It was portrayed as a Britain being free thing, an independence thing.

It's really Britain isolating themselves.

I wasn't eligible to vote this time round, unfortunately. So don't look at me as my opinions made no difference whatsoever. I just expressed support for the Leave campaign.

Independence, obviously. That's basically it. I don't believe the EU and the US will suddenly stop trading with us or put us at the back of the queue for trade deals because of this.

We might take an economic hit at first, but it'll get better.
