Bye!

You may as well just renounce your British citizenship while you're at it.

You know, you claim this wasn't about xenophobia and then you say shit like that. Your words betray you.

Xenophobia is the prejudice against or the dislike of people from other countries. She's from the same bloody country as me and you'll notice that I support immigration, just not mass immigration.

She obviously doesn't like it here enough to stay and that's fine. Good luck with her journey and future in Europe. You remain supporters are all the fucking same, smearing your opponents at every opportunity.

I respect you Tibs, but don't be an idiot.

Could you show me any actual evidence for that? Because the only research I've seen was a study done on twenty smokers which was so badly designed as to have no control group to work a baseline off of.

Now, vaping will probably end up being less damaging than smoking, but the research on it is so bad we cannot say for certain.

I don't even go there, since if that's the major or only reason to vote no, it speaks for itself. Or should I say disqualifies?

You do realise that if an EU nation introduce a discriminatory law the national courts would almost certainly overturn it on ECHR principles?

If the EU, with a group of EU politicians introduce a discriminatory law and Direct EU nations to introduce a discriminatory law they would have to or face sanctions.

Not all EU Directives are bad, but their lack of outside moderation is frightening ...

The EU agreed to adhere to the ECHR decades ago, but are still discussing it, what a joke  Dodgy

I'm not sure if this has been touched upon in this thread already, but what were the voting demographics like? I've heard a bunch of people say that the vast majority of the 18-34 age group voted to stay in the EU, while the majority of people who voted Leave will be dead in 20-25 years anyway.

Does anyone know any data to back up/debunk that? I'm not sure if these folks were just talking out their asses or not.

So you consider European Union "a dictatorship" and you justify this by ranting about vaping... Yeah - you sound totally rational.  Dodgy

Well actually, we don't know anything for certain, to my knowledge. Smoking is probably slightly more harmful, but to say that vaping is 95% safer sounds purely like an exaggeration. Unless you can provide proof, of course.

pocaracas posted the stats. Yes, the young folks voted remain. 68 percent, if I'm not mistaken. It's quite a few pages back.
