I've been making some pretty weird jokes today, but some of them have paid off!

Trying to relax and recharge my batteries.

Browsing the forums and getting ready to visit my grandparents in half an hour, or so.

3/4 cup milk

4 eggs
1 tsp. salt 
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder

Sprinkle grated cheese evenly over vegetables.
Sprinkle chopped tomato evenly over the cheese.
Pour custard (eggs, milk and seasonings) into the pie crust, evenly covering all ingredients.
Place the raw quiche on a baking sheet and put it into the oven for 15 minutes.
Carefully remove the quiche and the baking sheet and wrap the crust edges with foil to prevent over-cooking.
Place the quiche back in the oven for 10 minutes.
After this 10 minutes, turn the quiche and set the timer for another 13 minutes.
The quiche is done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Very similar to the recipe I use. I often put some Gorgonzola cheese into the custard for extra oomph.I often put leek instead of asparagus.

CD and I were just going over how many houses we had with basements. Lol

Just finished brekkie, tired. Gotta get ready for work pretty soon. Doing a few chores, but mostly chilling together.

Travelling as a passenger from Preston to Liverpool on the train in order to drive the last train back to Blackpool.

Why not?

We don't have furnaces, which basements are good for.
We don't have a lot of snow so we don't need such sloped rooves which are good for attics.
We have more room so we can more cheaply build outwards rather then downwards.
We possibly have a lot more areas with high ground water content.
Flooding is common here.
That's all I can think of.

Why are there just now suddenly fireworks over the back at 1:40AM?

I swear to not-God the people who live on that estate are on a different planet. Gunshots, arguments at 5AM, police sirens, dogs roaming the streets on the loose, fireworks for no reason.
