Sit back with a cup of tea and watch the political chaos that will ensue. Possibly civil unrest through parts of Scotland too. It'll be a fucking right laugh.

Surely you want everyone to unite for a better future? RE: The Un-united Kingdom is fucked now

Surely you want everyone to unite for a better future? It's even less of a laughing matter, since the UK has been taken hostage by political figures that give even less of a shit about the Great Unwashed than your regular politicians. They just care about bringing their agenda to fruition. Which is even more clear, if you scratch the surface and come up empty, as far as economics or foreign policy are concerned. Figures like that roam the whole of Europe. Which is a stark reminder of the first half of the last century. That's what the EU, flawed as it is, was built against. A repetition of the bloody strive and border disputes that haunted Europe for at least 350 years. For someone so invested in division, Bella has shown and said riots will be there, not that she will ever have the balls to do so. She also said good that other nations on the EU are contemplating to leave. She also said, to remain consistent, that Texas should leave the US, despite Texas having nothing to do with Europe. Some people just want to see the world burning without putting their assss on the line. The ttuest definition of a coward, age, gender and religious views nit withstanding. I for one will work hard so that my baby girl can have a better place to live on. I will stand while others cower. Because I am just that kind of asshole. 1 month remaining.
Damnit. I hate my mobile.

Read this. I wrote it in response to the brexit. It explains my line of thought on the matter. http://atheistforums.org/thread-43724.html RE: The Un-united Kingdom is fucked now

Americans are coming into the Brexit threads and bitching, so it's about time we did it to them. I honestly couldn't care less whether Texas gets independence or not. I said riots, basically civil unrest, might happen as a result of the government ignoring a referendum win. And that's definitely a possibility. I obviously wouldn't riot or anything like that, but I'd understand why people were doing it if it happens. And yes, it's excellent that other EU nations are looking to leave. France, the Netherlands and anyone else wishing to leave should get their referendums. I'm sure you want a nice place for your daughter to grow up in, but that's exactly what we Brits wanted for our future generations. That's why we voted out. RE: The Un-united Kingdom is fucked now

Why does everybody always resort to such extreme hyperbole? I've seen the craziest ideas about what people think will happen as a result of this. Norway and Switzerland never joined the EU and they are doing fine. The world isn't going to decend into Mad Max because Britain isn't part of the EU anymore.
Also I've seen two very conflicting ideas said by the same people. 1. It's so obvious that this is bad for Britain, you'd have to be a moron (or racist) to think otherwise. 2. This is going to inspire other countries to leave the EU. If it's so obviously bad and wrong, how is it going to inspire other people to leave the EU? Shouldn't it do the exact opposite. Also the cries of racism are weak. That's the fall back of people who don't want to consider why people actually wanted to leave and learn from it and move forward. Screaming 'racist' doesn't accomplish anything other then pissing off half of the UK. People could have a giant number of reasons to leave. Maybe they don't want to bail out Italy and Spain in the coming years. |
