I enjoy alcohol and bacon too much, not to mention fucking out of wedlock.
For those reasons, I'm out.

I understand that.
But, you're still speaking of the need to recognize that we need a leader/guide from a god that only exists in paper tomes, and in the minds of men.
People are telling you that they're not interested.
Ok I want to clarify , the original post was in a Muslim forum. So I thought it captured my thoughts on this issue well and shared it here.

If you didn't write it, you should edit the OP and make that clear, then.
Or perhaps you're just saying you posted it elsewhere first...I'm not quite sure.
Either way, forgive me for being unmoved.

Some people may be scared of the potential advance of extreme Islam (not me), but that doesn't mean they're all craving for the advent of the Mahdi.

I did write it, but it was originally aimed at Muslims.

Okay.
So, how was it received on the other forum?

One person responded so far and first he said:
Muslims don't seek to implement Shariah on the west.
And then when I clarified I didn't mean minority force it on majority.
He then told me that it was also wrong that Muslims want to societies to become Muslim. That he doesn't want everyone personally becoming Muslim.
As the saying goes "everyone is a critic".

No thanks, it's already full of shit.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Judging by past history, every single leader and guide from god have atrocious records for humanity regardless of whichever god they claim to speak for. And no, don't tell me we've not received the 'one true guide' yet.
There's only one sure fire way to solve the mess Mystic and that's to take responsibility for yourself and embrace reality. In other words, give yourself a fucking slap in the face, admit to yourself that your prayers and imaginings are just that - imaginary and put your efforts into something productive. Your incessant pleading with vast posts of, what I can only describe as deluded and/or drug fuelled random 'spiritual messages' don't fucking convince anyone.
It's painful to read and you need to stop. At least indicate that you acknowledge some aspect of reality for once.
