Not rightly so. Hitler killed millions of innocent people. Hitler campaigned on the promise of dictatorship and war. Trump largely wants to withdraw our troops from the middle east after fighting ISIS. People who compare Trump to Hitler are doing exactly what they always accuse Republicans of. Fear mongering. It's an offensive comparison and a historically stupid one.

I'm no fan of Trump, but the comparison to Hitler is ignorant. Criticize Trump on his own right, there is plenty there to go after and leave Hitler to rot in the ground.

Oh wow, one racist nut in the backwoods of Alabama with a racist sign must mean everybody who doesn't support Obama is racist. There are people who don't like Obama because they are racist I'm sure. There are plenty of people who just politically disagree with him. Accusing everybody of being racist all the time is weak. It dilutes the meaning of racism.

I don't like Obama largely because he continued Bush's foreign policy. Does that mean I'm a racist? Fuck anyone who says so. Not every white person lives in fear of being called a racist.

Agreed, Obama's continuation of many Bush policies was very disappointing.

I'm comparing Trump to Hitler, the early years, rather than the full dictator. Lets face it, Trump does not yet have the power to bestride the world like a yuge YUGE death dealing idiot.

I'm talking about the early years. Mein Kampf is from Hitler's early years. Hitler campaigned on the Holocaust, he wrote about the final solution in his early days, on eliminating democracy, on the glory of war and the desire for more war. That is Hitler in his early days. If you are saying that Trump secretly wants all of that, then anybody can secretly be Hitler, hence making it a pointless, silly and offensive comparison. List them and the reasons you disagree. From where I sit as a disinterested European Obama seems to have done immense good in the face of stiff opposition by a group of religiously motivated idiots. His successes include: Obama care, turned around the economy, ended various needless wars, ended the mass deaths of service men, made America less of a joke by being a proper statesmen instead of a circus freak.
