Sure, I've entertained such thoughts in passing, in regards to the first two questions, at least. Never once organized an army of colleagues and attempted an actual takeover of the company, though.

Christians generally convey otherwise, but I disagree.

But you do understand there are those who more agressivly 'covet' or at the very least think way too highly of themselves... and if one were to compound that over a few thousand years (working a job when you feel as if you have what it takes to own the place) something is bound to happen.

Look at the civil war.. same kind of thing happened there where in the southern most states thought they could make a better go of being a nation than what the rest of the union could provide. And... it didn't take a few thousand years for them to act.

Considering all things, If you were a believer/one of the angels who had to make a choice (stay with God or rebel) I looks as if your temperament would have had you make the same decision 2/3 of the angelic host made. You did not understand Lucifer's desire to break or knew it would fail so you stayed with God..

 I understand the covetous nature just fine. 
Trust me...I work with a bunch of chicks that are dead-set on destroying me.

The premise of my posts is that within Biblical context, it appears as though God doesn't simply smack Satan down because He can't.

Not yet, anyway.

According to text the Biblical God does seem to quite mighty, but doesn't he strike me as all-powerful, or all knowing, but He's generally purported to be.
That's was my  gist.

It's scary to me that you're trying to credit your God with these punishments, like he's ISIS taking responsibility for revenge killings.

No, I can't understand why you'd worship an evil tyrant. You're quite right.

The catch with eternity is that just like, Lucifer, was struggling with the noble pain, which came from service, people nowadays can't even imagine themselves becoming servants who work for free for the rest of their life.

Lucifer, simply gave up. People give up as well, even in the face of permanent death. So, even if they had this feeling like faith, they are trying to kill it.

I think that explaination is a bit too general for me.

What were the activities they engaged in that created division instead of unity?

Also, what was your role in process of building this church?
