That depends on what my agenda is, and do you call it a bad thing to have the agenda to bring the man who murdered 2000+ people to justice.

Im not talking about that. Im debating wether or not a video showing people dying is propaganda, because it plays on peoples emotions.
I guess that would depend on the context in which the footage was shown - but if someone merely films what's going on and said "Hey...look, this shit happened", that's not propaganda.

Obama campaigned on increasing military presence in Afghanistan, and increasing funding and manpower on the hunt for Osama in particular. This is exactly what he said he was going to do. Yeah, maybe one of the things he said he was going to do. Troops home by '08, troops home by '09, troops home by 2010, and on and on. It is not surprising. Presidents always contradict themselves. Listen, I am not bashing Obama here. I am simply making a point that he is not in the dirt. The guys in the dirt are the ones that make stuff happen. The guys who collect intel from the guys in the dirt make things happen. Obama listens to them and agrees with what they suggest or he disagrees. Do you think he organized the attack? Do you think he would have the slightest idea how to arrange an operation by a 20+ man SEAL team? RE: Osama may be dead.

I think there is also a lot to be skeptical about. It's certainly possible that he died years ago, and perhaps the death of the 'figure-head' was needed as a reason to begin larger-scale troop withdrawal from the country. There could be other reasons as well. But if the news is correct indeed, if Osama did die recently, then shouldn't there be pictures of his body in the front page by now?
First, they said that he was buried at sea, then that his body is in US custody for DNA analysis? Why the contradictory claims? I don't even know what to believe anymore. :S |
