So as of right now religion based on the Abrahamic god should end immediately because there's no way that any of that shit made any sense. Hell, god doesn't even need to sustain nourishment. He doesn't need to breathe. I'd love to see a theist make some sort of argument from that.

As often as you've posted I would have thought by now you would know God is Spirit, not a flesh and blood old man sitting around in heaven.
Try this one on, God is everywhere all the time (past, present and future) yet He is always in the present.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

He was approaching the situation with them as His children. Parents do it, they approach their children many times knowing the wrong they did without the children knowing they know. I almost confused myself. Huh

Yes , He is omnipresent in past, present, and future but he decided at that moment to take a walk in the garden because it was cool out. Wouldn't want to get overheated would we?

My games? Where am I playing games? From the moment you posted in here, you've been nothing short of condescending and when called out on it, you back peddle. Grow up.

Quote:I've learned that lesson in the past.

No you haven't. You're still doing it. Not only on this thread, but on other threads as well. Just when I think you're starting to be an upstanding member of these forums, you do shit like this.

Quote:Rules are arbitrary and if the staff decides that I broke any they're welcome to handle me any way they see fit. I wouldn't like to be a part of anything where dissent isn't allowed anyway, if they decide to side with you.

Please point out to me where I even said you were breaking any rules. This is just more of your delusions. You did derail my thread. You're still doing it. This is Narcissistic behavior at it's peak. I'm guessing you need some sort of supply so you picked my thread and me to target. Goodie for you.

Quote:But please quit being such a manipulative bitch and don't think you're being subtle about it neither.

Exactly how is my calling you out for being condescending (oh, and everyone can see it btw), me being a manipulative bitch? If, bringing to light your idiocy in a thread that was doing you no harm, is any sort of manipulative then you have a twisted view of what that word means. If anything you should look in the mirror because your twisty word salad is you trying to manipulate the conversation into some fantasy about how YOU see things, not how they actually are.

Quote:As for conducts, I believe I attacked a certain group mentality and you responded by flaming me and dismissing me entirely instead of responding to what I said.

Nope... you most certainly did not attack a "certain group mentality". You clearly wrote your post fully aimed at me, the Original Poster. If you can't understand that, then you're a bigger idiot than I thought. The snarkiness and ignorance of your entire first post in this thread proves what a jerk you continue to be here.

Quote:It's not a derail. I responded to the OP. You responded back. A conversation started where you repeatedly accused me of things and I defended myself, as well I should.

It is a derail. I had every right to respond back because you were nothing short of being an asshole and once again, when called out on it, you act like no one is supposed to respond to your ignorance. Sorry, you don't get a free pass on being a douche bag. Furthermore, I called you out for the things YOU wrote. Man up and accept getting called out for your ignorant behavior.

(July 21, 2016 at 11:58 pm)Excited Penguin Wrote: Look, Nymph, I'm sorry, maybe I was too harsh with my original reply. It clearly didn't have the intended effect so I'm in the wrong here. I apologize for the nasty things I said and it's ok if you don't want to apologize for yours, even though they clearly had a bad effect on me.

Apology isn't accepted. You do this all the time and your apology means nothing because clearly, you'll do it again. An apology only means something if the person apologizing is actually sincere and doesn't keep repeating the offending action. You have no intention of learning from your mistakes.

Why should I apologize? Your first post here started a shitstorm. Everything was fine until you showed up. I have nothing to apologize for. If anything I wrote had an effect on you, than that's your fault for causing me to react to your condescension.

Quote:I don't think this is any way to have a conversation and if the only way we can discuss this is by insulting each other and flinging accusations at each other then it's better that we don't do it at all. It's just not healthy and it's clearly unproductive as well.

Then you should have realized this before you hit "post reply" in your first post here. Perhaps you need to start thinking about whether or not you would want someone saying to you, the things you say to others on here. If you think you wouldn't want to hear them said to you, that would be a great time to reword things so that you don't come off looking like the forum dickhead.

Quote:I am truly sorry that we couldn't have an adult conversation about it. I guess it just goes to show that some level of superficiality can never be breached over the internet. Maybe this is why people become so nasty at times. Anyway, this is my last post in this thread. Lighten up and enjoy it 'cause I'm gone.

P.S. Since I won't be posting here anymore, I probably won't be reading any further posts either.

And there it is.... in true narcissistic behavior you throw in some fake apology and sprinkle in some sort of final message about being an adult only to include that basically you're taking your ball and going home because you've received your supply and now instead of admitting to what a jerk you were, you're just going to try to act as if this is everyone else's fault but yours.

If you have to include a reasoning with your apology, it's not an apology but a piss poor attempt at trying to get out of a mess that you started to begin with. But don't worry... I don't expect you to respond since you said you won't be back to fuck up my thread anymore.

Now, can the rest of us PLEASE get the thread back on topic? I am done with this clown.

Apparently it was a permanent resting because he's done little else since. Well, to his credit, he has caused mass genocide and spread panic everywhere. But....All that time on his hands and he can't even be bothered to eradicate disease or end hunger or even show his face to all his sheeple.

So really, does an entity that's supposedly omni everything really need to rest at all?

Well, god is a fraud. There are guys who can create a world a lot faster than him. Maybe not better but faster:

RE: God and resting
Ah yes, let's play semantics now. See it's alright for you theists to interpret the bible however you wish, especially when you need it to fit with your agenda, but for anyone else to do it - that's sacrilege!

So, it doesn't say he "needed" to rest, but the fact that he rested shows a need for it, otherwise he wouldn't have done it.
