Not really, just a long time addiction. I'm not kidding myself over that.

I enjoy both equally to be honest. There's days where I love going for a walk, particularly if it is very hot and there's days where I enjoy just sitting inside.

I didn't notice any hostility, tbh. Carry on.

If I don't agree I don't agree, and that's all there is to say on the matter. Nothing personal, really. Seems we only agree on LGBT rights, but that's OK, since that's at least a solid foundation. I'm not some man of the woods lumberjack type outdoors person, but I do generally not want to stay within any one building for as long as a full day. The one exception being when I'm ill, and I tend to just want to hibernate. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason.
I spend a good bit of time out of doors, but I try to not bother Mother Nature overmuch. That is to say, a stroll through town or the local parks is nice, but I'm not about to take up camping.

It was 114 fucking degrees here, yesterday.
But............. (July 30, 2016 at 7:44 pm)Minimalist Wrote: It was 114 fucking degrees here, yesterday. That's what in real money? About a third, isn't it? As opposed to last year, we have a rather mild summer so far. Nothing over 32 degrees. Last year we were pushing 40. But august is yet to come.
We're 'murricans. We can't be bothered with that metric shit.
That's for you commies! (July 30, 2016 at 6:18 pm)c172 Wrote: "I Don't Want To Get Over You"Clove cigarettes are fucking terrible. Some many times whilst in Indonesia I was tricked. Even once I bought a bag of pot in Jakarta and it was mixed with cloves. Funny story, a couple of weeks after that experience, I bought some pot from an English backpacker in Malaysia and I commented on how mouldy it was and where did he get it? He said it was from Vietnam. I asked him if he was fucking crazy taking it over the border. He informed me that it was all cool cause he had smuggled it up his arse. :-) |
