The real religion?
The real religion?

Even if they did happen, it makes fuck all difference right now. If 2000 years ago was the last time God favoured anyone in the correct religion, I think we can consider him irrelevant until further notice.

Oh, not just a story book Rob! An historically accurate documentation of supernatural events that occurred in the natural world, and that somehow stands as proof of its own accounting!

I mean, how can one argue with that?

RE: The real religion?
Maybe belief has become so fetishized that the historicity of fairy tales has stolen the thunder out of their applicability and effect? If you want to find people looking more for effect, and advocating for their religions based upon the effect, I'd suggest neo-pagan reconstructionists. Many simply do not concern themselves with jot and tittle accuracy, or even the existence of their gods in actuality. I suppose you could call a fair few of them green minded ritualists, more than anything.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Not so fast, Rob! I know Christians who caught the flu and got better after praying. I know at least one who found her car keys in time to make it to work. And I know some who feel really, really good about their faith -- especially after spending a few hours with like-minded people in a special building.

Even that's an improvement over the god from the bible. Let's replace all mentions of that god with Trump.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

So we're replacing one petulant, vindictive god with another? What are the Donald's views on shellfish and crucifying his sons/himself?

He likes shellfish. He has the best shellfish. Sometimes he eats one shellfish. Sometimes two. They're terrific shellfish. Believe him.

And no, he's not into crucifying his kids. He wants to sleep with them. I'm not sure if that's an improvement or not, but shellfish!

Vote Trump for your next all-powerful deity!

Yes, that's exactly what we're doing.

Help me out gang. According to Steve's logic and assertions regarding belief in the NT gospels, shouldn't he also believe in the gnostic and non-canonical gospels?
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

I've written complete bullshit down before in the past. It's a historical document now and I am the eyewitness. He should believe me.
