Did he make the rules, or show up one day with the rules in place? It doesn't seem sensible that it's both. God didn't "make" the rules, God unfolded them from his own self existence. Not intelligent design, bio-geometric design.
Like you get the same colors from white light in the same order each time. Inherent design.
But if he's all powerful why doesn't he just make the rules. Or all knowing just devise a plan. A intelligent plan that is.

I remember reading a story once about a Christian who decided to live as if there were no god for a time. I don't remember how long. By the end of it, he wasn't a Christian anymore. I don't know if he considered himself an atheist or not, but he was at least agnostic.

So the universe would be clockwork?
It doesn't need a god.
If it needs one to unfold it...
How do we know?

Only in your fevered imagination. This 'unfolding' of yours is nothing but impressionistic bullshit.

Biological, like an embryo, developing in the womb.

How would you describe the colors coming from white light?
How would you describe the 4 fundamental forces coming from a unified state?
Has any other scientific fields used "folded/unfolded" in similar application?
http://science.howstuffworks.com/science...theory.htm
Superstring theories take this idea and build the entire universe from the bottom up. And yes, it's as challenging a task as it sounds. That's why we speak of string theories in the plural, because there are several different string theories that attempt to make it all work. Oh, and at least 10 dimensions are called for, too, just for all the math involved. Physicists propose that any dimensions beyond time and visible space are folded up and out of sight.

Yeah but embryos feed on something.
The universe is clockwork. Don't deny it.

The universe is clockwork. Don't deny it. Yes, the order of the Infinite Substance, now in flow regular pattern between all the spheres is that "feeding".
Embryo's grow, so does space-time...clocks don't grow.

Physicists arent also authorities, there are plenty of counter arguments made by other physicists.
