First leg of our mini road trip - Goodnight, Washington. Having dinner at the Model T Tavern, quite possibly the only eatery open for miles. They have the best broasted chicken and Jos which kitty is having, and a very possible English-style fish and chip basket that I'm struggling to finish.

That is a great deal, but it depends on what type of tomatoe you are buying. I love the cherry tomatoes (the small ones), then there are the regular-sized tomatoes which are quite juicy and go quite well with a nice cheddar slice. Ahh... This is where knowing your fruit (yes, tomatoes are a fruit) cones in handy. The ones the farmer sold us were large ones, but being vine ripened, they were meaty (not a lot of seeds) and rich with flavor. Normally I'd use Romas, as those are the best kind for sauce. But I made the big ones work

That pan certainly is quite sexy.

It gets used at least two times a week. Primarily because I can't cook for less than an army.
