It turns out it is true, but for transgender women only.  But it's not surprising to see Breitbart fail to make that distinction.  They probably just saw the report and thought it was a good opportunity to use the word "trannies."

On top of that, the study was only done in 15 countries, including six Asia-Pacific countries and five Latin American countries, which most likely includes poorer nations with less HIV prevention.

Not to mention that there's a huge difference between the headline "Homosexual men more likely to be infected with HIV" and "Faggots more likely to be infected". Substitute any other marginalized group and slur as you prefer.
