Smart Republicans.... there are a few.
RE: Smart Republicans.... there are a few.

Quote:Republican Bob Brown, of Whitefish, is a former Montana secretary of state and state senate president.

Quote:I am saddened to write this opinion piece, but after much thought, I must. In my long life I have never voted for a Democrat for president. That will change this year.
The country can survive Hillary’s chronic deceptiveness. It might not survive Trump’s erratic, ego-driven recklessness.

Trump is an egomaniac conman who poses the greatest threat to our country of any presidential candidate in history. His instability is demonstrated by the fact that he has changed his party registration at least five times. He was a registered Democrat as recently as 2009. By his rhetoric Trump is not a conservative. By the gullibility of the modern Republican Party, he is their candidate for president. His only true loyalty is to himself.

Only an idiot takes a pejorative as a compliment.

Quote:The 55 signatories to Monday’s letter include a retired general, former department heads and their chiefs of staff, former ambassadors, former counselors and advisers and academics. Some have publicly supported Clinton’s candidacy, but the list also includes prominent Republicans and nine officials who served in the George W. Bush administration, including former Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff and former Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz.

Good man.

Quote:This Trump-hating GOP sugar daddy is shelling out $2 million to register Latino Florida voters

Quote:Just how much does longtime GOP megadonor Mike Fernandez loathe Donald Trump?
So much that he’s shelling out $2 million to get Latino voters in Florida registered so they can vote en masse to defeat him in a crucial swing state.
reports that the Florida billionaire, who is best known as the founder of private equity firm MBF Healthcare Partners, hopes his voter registration drive will be enough to sink Trump’s ambitions to win the state — and therefore any shot he has at winning the presidency.

Keep working, brother.  The country comes first.

So, is Hillary stepping up to the plate today and working on her high negatives ?

You know, doing her part to advance her candidacy ??

Fuck no.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Yeah, it's been very slightly over a week since Clinton collapsed due to pneumonia, why the fuck isn't she out there? She has whole days before the first presidential debate, that gives her plenty of time for stump speeches and press conferences.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory . . . it's the Democratic way.

Quote:30 former GOP lawmakers sign anti-Trump letter

Quote:Washington (CNN)More than two dozen former Republican members of Congress released a letter Thursday saying they cannot vote for Donald Trump because he "makes a mockery" of their principles.

Though the letter makes no mention of Hillary Clinton, organizer Andrew Weinstein said some of the members will vote for the Democrat, while others will vote for Libertarian Gary Johnson or write in a candidate.

Speaking of smart Republicans, although in this case not a politician, I'm a big fan of Megyn Kelly. Sure, she has views I disagree with strongly, but damn, she seems out of place being a Fox News reporter.
