We already have a Valkyrie, who works at a hospital...but in New Zealand...
I wonder how you two will interact... Wink

That should be interesting Tongue

Welcome, you seem like a cool person. Also, Odinsdottir? It means Odin's Daughter, he's a god in norse mythology.

Arf, arf, bark,  woof, wqof, ruff. Translate Welcome!

Never been able to find a G spot. Only G general vicinity.

Interesting, I used to blow/tickle all those also but then gave it up (instruments). Sax was the main passion.

Well, I suppose -- But if your auto-correct changes it to "G Spot" I may have to have Words with you.   Wink

Oh, I would never go straight for the G Spot. You've got to build up to a pet name like that.

Just as soon as I finish writing the TCP/IP Request for Comments for Mead Transfer Protocol. </network_geek>

That's how I ended up as a Valkyrie.  We're supposed to drop off half the Einherjar at Dad's place and the others at Auntie Freyja's place so that She can have Her way with them.

On a (slightly) more serious note, I think the Norse deities represent famous mortal heroes and tribal leaders from the early days of Scandinavian culture, and the term "god" just snuck in there over time.

I have watched a bit of anime in the past, but nowadays I get restless just sitting down to watch things.  I may drop in if the discussions turn to My Neighbor Totoro, because I love that one.
It's a free forum thread that doesn't have not to many rules. You can discuss any anime you like.

Welcome to the forum, I didnt get to say welcome to the forums so I'm just here, welcoming you to the forums!

Might be too late, in which case write me up then.

Q: how, the hell, do you get air to flow through a flute??
In school I was a trumpet player who wanted to be a flute player! Then I got a flute for Christmas and truly really tried to no avail for, years.

Also can you translate Flugstad?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
