Ah I see.
Abortion is an important issue for me, but so are other things. Trump pretends to care about the unborn, Hillary pretends to care about the poor. As Christians we should care about both/all. Ultimately, it's about having dignity and respect for human life. As someone else pointed out here, being pro life and building a pro life culture is about so much more than just outlawing abortion. Trump's treatment of women and his greediness and apparent unconcern for the poor does not set a good foundation for that. Don't get me wrong, Hillary's own dishonesty and sense of being above the rest of us, along with her vehement defense of super late term abortion (including partial birth abortion) doesn't make her any better.
I know this is a lengthy article but it explains everything much better than I ever could here: http://thefederalist.com/2016/10/20/trum...n-hillary/
Be careful what you wish for. The regime you want implemented cares so little for the dignity and the life of the woman that shit like this could happen to you. Don't forget I live in a country where policy regarding abortions is dictated by the catholic church and it is not a nice place for pregnant mothers.

I think if you're a leader and you're representing something greater than yourself, you have to be held to certain standards. Not only did Bill cheat on his wife, but he lied about it to the American people, and was also accused of sexual assault.
It's like in the Air Force. If one of the pilots (or whoever) cheats on their wife, their career is pretty much over. It's considered illegal. "Conduct unbecoming of an officer" and all that. If our military members can't do it, there's no reason why our president should get a pass, IMHO.
To me the the rule for your air force officers seems grossly outdated as it is. I don't see the point of extending it to even more people.

Would you still be saying that if Trump were winning? If Trump wins the election is he still going to insist it was rigged, and demand an investigation of the outcome? Ya know...to make it fair for Hilary and all. Is the FBI still rigged now that they are re-looking at the email server issue? Or not anymore? And the polls? Are the results of polling in Florida sound or rigged, now that it's neck and neck? It's funny how you guys only complain about stuff being "rigged" when things aren't going well for your candidate, lol.
If, (when), Trump gets elected as president I would still say that the media, in collusion with the Democrats, tried to rig the election against him. They tried to rig it against Bernie too. The Democrats and their ministry of propaganda, the media and journalists, are vile and corrupt. There's no doubt that the media is in the tank for Hillary...and the Dems have their own dirty means of undermining their opponents. The Clintons corrupted the democratic party....
Examples:
Donna Brazile feeding answers to Hillary in a town hall debate hosted by CNN while she worked there...
Quote:Donna Brazile warned Hillary Clinton’s campaign that she would be asked about lead poisoning in Flint, Mich., ahead of a primary debate, according to an email released by WikiLeaks Monday.
The group has been posting hacked emails from Clinton's campaign chairman, John Podesta.
The email, originally sent March 5, 2016, warned that “One of the questions directed to HRC tomorrow is from a woman with a rash.”
“Her family has lead poison and she will ask what, if anything, will Hillary do as president to help the ppl of Flint,” Brazile wrote.
During the March 6 debate, Lee-Anne Walters, who said her family was poisoned by lead, asked Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders if they would “make a personal promise to me right now.”
“As president, in your first 100 days in office, you will make it a requirement that all public water systems must remove all lead service lines throughout the entire United States, and notification made to the — citizens that have said service lines,” Walters asked.
Another email revealed earlier this month showed Brazile passing along a question about the death penalty ahead of a town hall that she said “worries me about HRC.”
Brazile, who is now the interim chair of the Democratic National Committee, worked as a CNN contributor and vice-chair of the DNC in March 2016. The DNC is not supposed to back a candidate during the primaries.

I like it personally because it promotes the importance of good family life and gives off the idea that we want people with integrity for this sort of job.... since it is the sort of job that requires possibly having to kill ppl, etc.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Yet you know it's an archaic rule. We had similar ones in our late empire. It's all about keeping up appearances instead of real values. (Obviously I don't mean your personal situation but the rule in general) Integrity at the job got nothing to do with cheating or not cheating. It's got everything to do with doing your job properly with your private life being a private matter.
Our officers were expected to take the consequences when losing at the cards table, meaning that they had to shoot themselves or face dishonorable discharge if they couldn't pay their debts. If they promised marriage and didn't go through on their promise, dishonorable discharge was also on the table. In Germany this led to one of the most infamous careers of all time. Reinhard Heydrich fell victim to that rule and went for the SS after being sacked by the navy.
It's keeping up appearances in a field that really doesn't concern the job, since it's got nothing to do with it. Cheating on your wife or husband doesn't mean you're cheating at the job. There's lots and lots of marriages breaking apart without the ones being at fault being faulty at their jobs.

I've backed it up with facts plenty of times Tib. The use of drones to carry out executions, the armament of Saudi Arabia and terror groups in the Middle East, the air bombings of Libya, Yemen, and Pakistan. Just to name a few of the war crimes. I'm not appealing to authority, I drew my conclusions independently of Chomsky's analysis.
Continuing to operate Guantanamo Bay is a war crime: people are illegally detained, and were tortured, killed, and denied their Geneva convention rights.
Drone assassinations are a war crime: they disregard international human rights laws and laws regarding armed conflict. Air strikes very likely contravene these laws as well. Again, that's not just my opinion, there are reports written that detail exactly why these are war crimes. For example the targeted drone killing of unarmed persons is a war crime.
" Admittedly the drone attacks had their utility, but they represented a breach of national sovereignty. They were 'legal according to American law but illegal according to international law.'"
- Lt. Gen. Ahmad Shuja Pasha, in the leaked Abbottabad Report (paragraph 477) as cited in the above linked Amnesty Int report.
There that's hard evidence, and not opinion, and there only needs to be one war crime to justify labelling Obama and Clinton war criminals.

And it looks like what I was saying about Comey's decision regarding the emails is true. Turns out he was unwilling to release concrete information that Russia is interfering in the election on behalf of Trump " for fear of influencing the election".
So we now know that Comey is willing to demonise Clinton on the flimsiest of grounds, yet unwilling to tell the truth about Trump. Is that enough to bring him up on charges of treason?

Even if Russia is behind the leaked hacked emails, it would be for their own agenda not because they're acting "on behalf of Trump"!
I suspect the FBI has evidence that Russia hacked the email server. But they may not have been the same hackers who released them to Wikileaks.

As I said before, I think it's probable that Russia's behind the leaked emails, but I don't think that Trump's got anything to do with it. They're using Assange as a tool, but it's not Trump doing it. It's someone in Russia thinking that a Trump presidency would be more adventageous than a Clinton presidency.
I don't share the outrage in any case, since it's intelligence business as usual and America has done it's fair share of that in the past and is probably still doing it. Dirty business for sure, but everyone's doing it to move their chess pieces where they want them to be.

Again, I really doubt Russia would trust Assange. Yes he has a great record for the past ten years that he keeps going on about - but there are other Journalists connected to the mainstream media who have records stretching back 30-40 years of having never leaked a source, and they would get the emails published in far more prominent media. Furthermore Wikileaks only has around 5 or 6 people in total working on this, the mainstream media can mobilise a much larger task-force as was done for the Panama papers, allowing them to publish everything much faster. So if Russia wanted to have the biggest possible impact on the US election then they should have leaked them to mainstream media.
