Crohn's is a bastard. I hope the surgery works.

Quick question, and you don't have to answer because it's none of my damn business. Have you tried medical marijuana. I did a research project for a client that involved how marijuana reacts with certain conditions, if at all. I remember that I found a ton of evidence that it can provide some relief for Crohn's sufferers. They're not sure exactly why, but there are a lot of CBD receptors in the digestive system, so it's definitely hooking up there and doing something.

I'm not going to say go do that. I'm a huge advocate of talking to your doctor about all of your options. I'm just throwing it out there as something I've read some good information on.

I'm pretty sure you don't actually have to get high to get the benefits. It's the cannabinoids, not the THC that help, as far as I know. Therefore, you can take one of the medications they have developed, to my knowledge. Might be harder to get than medical pot, though.

Edit: Scratch that. One of the studies says they used THC-rich plants.
