Nobody has an actual problem with them having a debate. They simply haven't agreed to or followed the protocol to initiate one yet.

That's like two blind people fighting over what color the sky is.

That arguement is one that has always bothered me.

The sky is not one set color, it has the potential to be all of them under the right conditions. and on the right day a mixture from pink purple to red blue and black

Well, sure, but I didn't realize when I said, "Color of the sky," I needed to clarify with "The frequency of the light from the sun that is most scattered by the atmosphere at high noon with clear weather."

Ah yes, humankind can see the sky in different colours. It will happen long after my always untimely demise. Someday people will look up the stars and see that understanding the place where we are, is much more interesting, than trying to make it as we wished. Kudos for anyone that can find the professor in there.

Yes, but it takes far more than just asking for a thread to discuss a subject. They need to propose a motion, agree on a set number of posts, and find a moderator. We take the debate area very seriously.

But why stifle the free flow of their creative brilliance? I suggest a rule stipulating that each post contain at least four different font sizes and text colors each with the participants free to use as many emojis as they think are necessary to communicate effectively.

Do you suppose it might be possible for the mods to rig it so that every time one of them posts something new to the debate, we get a musical alert?
