Would you like to be immortal?
RE: Would you like to be immortal?
Being hit really hard in the head, Parkinson's, dementia, alzhiemer's, coma, death, etc.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Unfortunately atheism is stuck in the dogma that the consciousness is a product of the brain so
the brain is the boss.
What a crap.
How can something material as the brain boss something a lot more subtle as the consciousness?
Whatever affect the brain doesn't necessary affect the consciousness.  Lightbulb

1. No it's not atheism is a lack of belief or disbelief in god not dualism etc

2. Nope not the boss the enabler of being the boss and even if that were true so what?

3. Your ignorance of something and using the word subtle does not make consciousness any less a product of a material brain .Mysterian language won't help you bamboozle your way out

4. Really care to give an example. And even if it wasn't everything you still have to account for when it does

Rik's entire contribution to the forum, condensed into one image:

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Here is an example Oro.  I'm all ears!

The brain is something material while the consciousness is not.
Consciousness is an abstract entity.
How can something material can give birth to something abstract?
Have you ever seen something inferior giving birth to something superior?
Have you ever seen a soldier telling the general what to do?
Have you ever seen a mother give birth to a human without a body?

You never thought of that Ori, did you?  Bird

Evolution is a process that follow devolution so to make it short the power has always been there.
There are no changes or increase in power.
What change really is that the emerging consciousness that by the process of devolution was lying in a latent or dormant stage such as in the matter awake.

In other words is not that by the process of evolution it gain more.
All it does is that the consciousness awake from that latent or dormant stage that last millions of years from matter to vegetation to animal life to human life and back to the originator.
Awake doesn't really mean gaining. Lightbulb
