No, it can do none of these things.
Neither can a newborn, but we're not allowed to kill those.

Maybe read some medical journals at some time to understand the distinction. But I'm not holding my breath that any of you will come up with some educated reply at some point.

Okay. So your argument is a fetus is not a baby and hence doesn't deserve bodily autonomy? This is a clever way of using different words to create a false reasoning. A fetus is still a baby, just an underdeveloped one. You know it, I know it, everybody know it, but you substitute the word baby with fetus and suddenly it looses every one of its rights.
Entertain this idea:
Bodily autonomy is not limited to babies. All human beings deserve bodily autonomy. A human fetus is still human. It still deserves the right to live.

... and neither do they have bodily autonomy, which was the point under discussion. Do try and keep these things straight.

I've already asked it at least four times. Do keep up, child. I'm not repeating myself for your benefit. You're expected to stay abreast my points as your part of this discussion, and I won't do your legwork.

I'm not the one who doesn't have it straight. Neither has bodily autonomy. Therefore, if bodily autonomy is the deciding factor, then both should have the same rights. I'm assuming (haven't read it all) that you're assigning them different rights. Therefore, bodily autonomy is not (for you) the deciding factor.

Nope, but bodily autonomy was proposed as the deciding factor, and neither has bodily autonomy.

I am. I hold that an adult human has more rights than a fetus. The courts agree with this assessment. I think common sense does, too. It's clear that the fetus has no autonomy, by nature of its existence.
Additionally, adults do have the right to be free of governmental decision regarding their medical treatment -- i.e., bodily autonomy -- barring felony conviction.
So yes, I think you're the one who doesn't have it straight.
