Remember Niqab? it's not Islam that made women dress like garbage; it's Arabs.
Arabs don't need Islam to beat women without a reason. Actually, the Quran stops them at bay with its load of laws.
They used to bury girls alive before Islam.
Yes, I know that the cultural values of Arabs are terrible. I'm talking about the Quran though, not Arab culture. It's values are violent and I would never hold to them.
You can't speak about the Roman invasion of Germania, without discussing the values of the natives.
The Quran was revealed to an Arab, who read the book to the Arab society 1400 years ago. You have to discuss what the natives did.

And some fools insist there's no such thing as progress.

Of course they do; they're still Arabs.
They even killed each other after Mohammed's death, and found themselves a nice Sunni/Shiite versions of the faith, which allows them to keep raping little girls, stone their wives, butcher each other and do everything God told them not to do.

I'm not talking about Arabs.
I'm not talking about Arabs.
I'm not talking about Arabs.
Would you like me to repeat that a few more times so you can work out what I'm not talking about?
Anyone taking a fundamental stance on the the Quran, Arab or not, would be taking a position of violence (yes, including violence against women) in many areas that I would oppose. Cherry pickers and moderates may not be, but I'm not worried about them.

Caaaaaalm down; Jesster.
Here; some relaxing music:
Okay.
Many of the things said to criticize Islam, are things Arabs do.
You can't find a base for them in the Quran. Like stoning women and Niqab.

Then if you want to talk about Arabs, I am going to leave instead of following you off the rails. Too many threads have been doing that lately and I don't have the patience for it. I hope you have a good day. Bye.

Just remember; Jesster:
You can't discuss the Roman presence in Germania, without discussing the habits and values of the natives.
Bye.

I'm missing your point and what it has to do with the topic here, but I'm already gone anyway. Explain it to someone else.

Being a book revealed in Arabic, and dealt with ancient Arabic society, the society has to be studied to know what the book is talking about.
To relate while reading, it's better to know Arabia. It's crucial.
Just like getting to know what Rome was to understand the hell early Christians endured in the Roman Arena.
I love talking to ghost. Story of my life.
