Relaxing, knowing I don't have to celebrate a zombie today. Just a quiet day with my daughter. Also, a client is coming over later this afternoon for a haircut.

Morning coffee and AF.

Reading the Twitter conversation about #Lent. I never even knew when that was. Also listening to jazz and watching Jay Leno's Garage on YouTube (Datsun 510).

Made bacon and eggs and a pot of tea for breakfast, with a Hershey's Cookies and Cream chocolate bar chaser in honour of Egregious Chocolate Consumption Day.

Polymorphed into a tea-powered couch lump and read there for a while (The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss), then downloaded an E-reader to start reading another book (waves to Rhondazvous).

I have to go out later to pick up some ingredients for supper, and fortunately there's an open-every-day-of-the-year grocery store a short drive away. Hoping against hope that I can psyche myself up to work on one of several household projects, but right now I'll settle for having supper ready at a reasonable hour and the trash bins rolled out to the back lane. It's a damp, dreary and slightly chilly afternoon, not exactly conducive to gardening.

Hanging here, going thru some feeds and CE that I keep up on.

Reading about the Turkey referendum. Well, it went as expected, and we also expect that it was basically rigged (as in actually faked). Apparently, 2/3s of turks voting in Germany voted in favor of fascism. They still seem to prefer it here. How paradoxical.
