Back in bible times, the soul was connected to the element of air. Meaning jews believed the soul entered the body at birth. So I don't know where they get that sperm have souls. Aside from their desperate need to control people's sex lives. Do they even realize that, at best, only one sperm even gets to an egg for pregnancy to happen? Meaning so many souls would be bound to die by default.

That's a lot of souls...

But even if we grant them that (and ignore the astronomic numbers of souls which are discarded by nature all the time) - the question remains: If I don't even remember or recognize my own mother or my own children if I just get some plaque on my neurons, what does the soul do for me that has any meaning?

I believe the term "spoim", "spoims", or "spoimatozoa" should be used when specifically referring to the idea of sperm imbued with the presence of a soul or souls. 

Just sounds more earnest, I think.
