The top scientists dont, and it still would not make magic babies real or zombie gods real.

..If you've got Roman army garrison records of interacting with Jesus, that would be the strongest evidence for his existence ever discovered..

Maybe we should think "politics" and  "shredder" to explain the scarcity of official records?
When christianity began snowballing in popularity after Jesus's execution, the Jewish priests and the Romans probably said -
"Oops better not let on it was us who killed him, quick shred all the documents implicating us or we'll have a Jesusgate scandal on our hands. Let's airbrush him out of history and start hassling christians, and people will soon quickly forget about him"

That is what is known as an ad hoc explanation for absence of evidence and doesn't make the slightest difference in the case for the existence of historical Jesus. And I say that as someone who leans towards there having been a rabbi named Yeshua being the basis of the Gospel stories.

As an aside, the Romans kept plenty of records that didn't put them in a good light. And Jesus was claimed to be 'big' in the stories whose authors want you to believe he was real and the son of or incarnation of God. It's another claim, not evidence at all.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Ah yes, the pigeon closer.  Shit on the board, declare victory, and take flight.

No, Drop. You were wrong, you have continued to be wrong, you are still wrong....first gods, then science, now aliens...I wonder what you're going to be wrong about next?

Whoa Jack, I titled this stupendous thread "Can God be seen in the maths?" because I was simply asking a question, and as we've seen, some (but not all) scientists say yes, it's possible.
In other words there's no definitive answer so the thread has run its course, or does somebody want to add anything further?
EDIT- There, it's happened again, the forum system has tacked this post onto the bottom of an earlier one and it looks a right confusing mess and I'm losing track of who said what!
Uh huh......

Trouble is, there -is- a definitive answer, and it's no.  God can't be "seen in the maths", the only place god can be seen is in the addled minds of god believers, same as always.  Some of which are scientists, ofc, and there would have to be a few..what with there being so many believers - brute force of numbers.
